How
long does it take?
How
many hours you need depends on your
Dutch language level at the
beginning and your targets at the
end of the course.
For example, a beginner would need
about:
- 20 hours to get a basic knowledge
of the Dutch language, to
understand simple sentences and
give very simple personal
information; -
40 hours to survive in standard
social situations;
- 60 hours to interact with Dutch
native speakers in everyday and
office-related situations;
- 80 hours to communicate quite
independely in social and business
situations. |
